As an employee at the Farm you will work closely with visitors, our attractions and maybe even some furry friends! It's our job to ensure everyone has a great time at the Farm so your job is to make sure questions are answered, visitors are finding what they need and they are enjoying themselves!
Every day is different at the Farm. Some days we have large parties or groups and usually we are so busy, time will go by very quickly!
We are searching for mature, outgoing people with great customer service skills. Also, we are looking for those with concession or food-handling experience. There are a variety of indoor and outdoor positions. Some are more physical than others, some have more interactions with guests than others.
Hours are flexible and we work with student schedules. Pay is hourly, commensurate with experience.
Current Available Positions:
All positions are temporary for the spring and fall season, both full and part time. Fall season runs select dates September 15-November 13.
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for basic fixes to equipment, buildings, grounds and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Making minor repairs, grounds keeping, operating and maintaining farm equipment and basic building maintenance
Install needed equipment
Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and attractions
Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Proven experience in a similar position
Basic knowledge of farm & construction equipment, plumbing and electrical systems
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and dexterity
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills while running various attractions throughout the Farm, including the jumping pillows, fall maze, farm fun yard, carousel, etc.
Excellent customer service skills and perform cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Excellent customer service skills, welcome guests and take orders and preparing food and beverages for customers.
