Fall Festivities and Contests Offer Family Fun
(OKLAHOMA CITY) - Fall into fun at the Orr Family Farm starting
Sept. 24. Children and adults of all ages can enjoy special activities such as
a hayride, a challenging walk through the giant corn maze and even pick their
very own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. The Farm will offer fall festivities
through Nov. 5.
In addition to fall festivities, the Farm will offer all of their top attractions. Take a zip line, train and pony ride, race the pedal cars, mine for gemstones, bounce on the giant jumping pillows or ride the 1974 vintage carousel. Concessions with favorites such as homemade kettle corn and fudge, hot dogs and barbecue will be available.
"Throughout October we will host many special events to provide affordable family outings," said Shanain Kemp, event director at the Orr Family Farm. "We will have family night every Friday night with a movie and marshmallow roasting, pumpkin seed spitting contests every Saturday with a grand prize of a $100 Al's Bicycle gift certificate plus discount days for military personnel and their families, Girl and Boy Scouts and more."
